BIOGRAPHY

John Paul Andrews, who also goes by JP, is a native of Eastern North Carolina, where he began participating in musical theater at an early age. As a trained vocalist he has traveled throughout the country performing at venues ranging from large private parties to concerts at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

JP's last performance in musical theater was as Roger Davis in a New Bern, NC production of RENT in 2012. After a brief 2 year hiatus, JP began pursuing television and film, where he has portrayed a range of characters, from a secret service agent in House of Cards to police officers and investigators on the ID Channel; from Isaac Parker, the hanging judge on Bill O'Reilly's Legends and Lies, to the antagonist Baron of Latvaria in the short fan film Von Doom.

Now coming off of another brief hiatus JP is revisiting the musical side of things, this time with his acoustic guitar, where he is playing live solo gigs at local breweries, wineries, and cideries around Loudoun County, VA.
